Congratulations, Rob! I bought my first Lett 32 thirty years ago and hammered out many a book report and school project on it. The carriage lock on mine is a little sporadic, but I think it has more to do with a weakened spring than anything else. Enjoy the machine, Rob.
A good find, you can't go wrong with an Olivetti Lettera 32.
