And well, the interior too.

I've been thinking of ways to integrate my graphic design tendencies and my typewriters, my first idea was posters, since I hadn't really done any of those before. I've made two at this point. I think your idea was even better. I might end up doing something similar. Thank you sir! ;)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05280294152270101017noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1906642113469252066.post-41971693630762695922012-06-12T02:27:28.456+01:002012-06-12T02:27:28.456+01:00Hahaha, crumb tray, that is so awesome.

Maybe as a long-term project. I spot a few differences between the Antares and the Underwood 18: there's no special un-jamming key on the left side of the keyboard, I can't spot the U-shaped type action dampening spring which the type bars hit just before the paper and finally, no pilcrow key! Out of the same mould though.Rob Bowkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12065940710708289511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1906642113469252066.post-5490215607120742382011-04-07T16:50:05.614+01:002011-04-07T16:50:05.614+01:00Wait, so is this the same design as the Underwood ...Wait, so is this the same design as the Underwood 18? I traded Franklin Gothic Demi for Futura (what WAS I thinking?), orange for red and green for black. There was I thinking tricolore when I should have been in a more revolutionary groove.

I could make an eps or jpeg available of the redrawn Antares logo. In the process of drawing it, you realise what an amazing logo it is. It isn't an exact copy. The 'e' in the original has a horizontal terminal where the cut of Futura I have it slopes.

Richard: Pilcrow! That's the word, I knew it had a name. Good name for a blog!
And Ted, I think you and Ryan and everyone did John's typwerunner photo more than enough justice.
