Gabriele 25
The doorbell rang. It was Fiona with a typewriter from a house clearance. Plastic, the odd fracture in the bodywork, missing badge, no touch control, segment (and more) needs a clean.
I see that these later UK keyboards don't include some of the weird fractions found on older ones, such as 5/8. Is there a relationship to the decimalization of your currency?
well Bill, I wouldnt know but I think it is an evolution of earlier mid 60s Gabrieles so I wouldnt be at all surprised if they had a lot in common. this one shows promise but needs a good clean and light lube. tippex-free but lots of dust and the fluff of neglect
Techno? Domo arigato, Mister Roboto.

I'd never thought of that, but I think probably not. I does have a number one though. Tpecast coming soon.
DeleteI have one of these.... In Techno as well! Not the greatest machine, but quite solid.
ReplyDeleteI vouch for Gabriele.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how it compares to the Adler J4. Looks quite a bit like it. My J4 is a great typer.

DeleteI'll put my hand up to say that I've got one with techno type as well. I use mine quite irregularly, but they aren't bad!
