It looks like your segment is identical to my TP1's, s/n 279706 so the newer, better shift design must have came about sometime within the first year of production...If I find out how to adjust the alignment I'll let you know.
There's a lot more to the evolution of the TP line than we first thought a few years ago as more and more of them are found by us!
I love that font. I've yet to come across one like that, where the characters are made up of lines with variable widths. Kind of a modern, "with it" looks, that is nicely balanced by the random alignment. Which a like also - gives the characters character. If we wanted our writing to look perfect, then we'd be using computers.

Good work. It would be nice to be able to find all the Facit variations and a repair manual on them.
