  1. This reminds me of the long-reach stapler I purchased for center-stapling screed booklets and such, fanzine-style. Not as diminutive as the example you've shown us, but perhaps more practical via typewriter.

  2. Gee, my second comment on a comment today. Like Joe I bought a long reach stapler to make booklets. Heaven knows if I will ever use it.

Rob, I look forward to your book.

  3. I'll be interested to see this when you have something finished. I have no excuse at all, since I have access to a printing press and a freestanding powered saddle-stitcher that makes it's own staples out of spooled wire :D

  4. While we're on the subject of home-made books, now might be a good time to plug the Oxford Fine Press fair next weekend (2/3 Nov). There won't be much typewriting on offer but typospherians will be welcome at the Hedgehog Press stand. http://fpba.com/fairs/oxford.html

    1. Thanks Alan, looks like the organiser is local. I'll try to make it.

  5. I'll be in the corridor by the cafeteria, with all the other small small presses — hope to see you there.
