Interesting to get a glimpse of your carving tools, and especially see the progress of releasing the spoon from the timber. I envision a photograph of a finished spoon perched on a log, with more in the background, surrounded by shavings and your tools.
Now there's an idea! I tried to keep the axe out of the frame because it was so woefully blunt. The knives on the other hand, you could shave with them, though I wouldn't advise it.
I hereby endorse spooncasting.
ReplyDeleteIs this spoon 4 in the works? Of course it is... I just saw the tags.
ReplyDeleteIt is good to spend your Sundays making spoons. I'm certain your wife would agree. (:
ReplyDeleteI can see the trend in carving here: tea spoon, spoon, ladle, digger bucket with arm... ;)
ReplyDeleteAwesome to see the transformation.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ton. Log to spoon. I know. I think therein lies the bug.
DeleteThat is quite a transformation.
