Perhaps (with reference to Rob Messenger's recent post) they are being kept aside, awaiting the time when enough are made to be personally distributed to each member of the English cricketing team? Ho ho ho
Scott: so far they go in a drawer. Then I can use them as reference for subsequent spoons. Steve: I'm not really into cricket but I get the wooden spoon thing. Maybe I could burn a spoon and send a portion of the ashes to each player? But too late - the squad's already fragmenting.
This is exciting! Marlize had mentioned it to me but I'd forgotten so it's like a surprise all over again.
