Ugly stick?

  1. As they say, Rob, perfection lies in the imperfection. This spoon shows that a human hand created it. I like the knotting(?) that's visible in the bowl.

    1. The black marks in Spoon #13 are dead knots from in-grown twigs early in the tree's life. The concentric whorls are just the growth rings revealed like strata through the depth of the bowl.

  4. Well, I very much like it personally. The heavy handle, with the delicate lip gives this spoon interesting contrasts. Just like the high contrast in the wood.
