Been a while indeed! Great machine though. The SM3 is a very different beast with its spring loaded keys, but all the Olympias are sharp beasts.
I think the sprung key-tops are a fascinating detail on the SM-3 and SM-4. Almost over-engineered given the marginal comfort boost they offer. Maybe I should dig out the SM-4 deluxe for a comparison finger-fatigue test?
Rotation is good. Reminds me that I have to do rotation of my own.
I've not typed on one yet. Looks promising!
I am making comments for senior research papers on an SG-1 and the touch is definitely heavier than I am used to. So, I feel your pinky pain.
