Spoons 25, 26 and 27, spindle

Spoons 28 and 29, sycamore

  1. Rob, these spoons look perfect enough to sit next to machine-made ones, yet imperfect enough to show that a human hand crafted them. Absolutely stunning.

  2. Amazing! You've succeeded well in pursuing the uniformity. I agree with Teeritz on this one. Minor differences are needed to notice that they are handmade.

  3. This set of spoons is incredibly beautiful, and so was the description of your backyard birds. You're quite talented at both whittling and storytelling. My daughter and son-in-law have had a less satisfying bird experience lately. It seems a very vocal mockingbird has been performing just outside their bedroom window for about a week 4 a.m.

    1. We don't get mockingbirds so I had to look it up on Youtube. It isn't a whole lot different to a song thrush - there must be worse noises to wake up to :-)
