  1. Looks very good! I am all for sanding here. Any chance for the picture of the log that you used - in sort of "before and after" style - please? Oh, wait a minute... no beer?

    1. Ooops Peter, it is reduced to chips and shavings. I DO have a very similar bit from the same species of tree though, so I'll take a photo of it. Yessss, I'll take a photo of a spindle log - sound a fairly rational sort of thing to do now you mention it.

  4. I thought Spoon No. 1 was an impressive effort, but I'm amazed at the results of Spoon No. 2. Okay, I'll need six for soups, six for tea and say, four for espresso coffees. Oh, and I need them by this Wednesday.
    Extraordinary work there, Rob. The bowl is nicely shaped.
