The price is right! Though I can't complain about $2.50 for an Olivetti ribbon I bought the other day at my beloved Spitzfaden's, on two genuine metal Olivetti spools.
@Rob: I just paid 16 swiss Francs for a red/black ribbon of poor quality, it is almost liquid ink... I might try this auction, shipping to Switzerland is 1,90 £, that's okay.
@Florian: That's A LOT OF MONEY! The SMCO ribbons are fairly heavily inked (messy fingers when re-spooling!) but give as clean an impression as your type heads permit. Worth a try, at least.
I pay ten times more at my local office supplier.
